ALGOMA (WLUK) -- It's about that time of year when many families and friends begin making a trip to the beach a normal occurrence!

As Memorial Day weekend approaches, the City of Algoma is ensuring its Crescent Beach is ready for visitors.
The city is doing so by investing in a machine that will be sure to keep the sand along the beach free of any garbage, sticks and debris.
